Mr. Crowther has written and produced patriotic pageants for the LDS stakes in his area on four different occasions, and has lectured at numerous business seminars, writers’ seminars, BYU Education Weeks, youth conferences and other Church gatherings. He also has escorted several tours to Israel, Guatemala and surrounding countries.
His has been a life of continued service within the LDS Church. He has filled five missions, including full-time missions to Central America and Mexico. He has been a District President, Branch President, High Priests Group Leader, Stake Mission President, Seventies Quorum Senior President, and Elders Quorum President. He also has served as a Sunday School Superintendent and President, a YMMIA Superintendent and President, a Ward Music Chairman, a Ward Activities Committee Chairman, a Stake Music Director and Drama Director, a member of several stake boards, a director and member of stake and ward choirs, a Gospel Doctrine class instructor for more than 20 years, and has filled many other callings as a teacher and teacher trainer. Other Church assignments have included work as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple and service as a tour guide on Temple Square. He is a Master M-Man and an Eagle Scout.
He is married to the former Jean Decker, who is also an author, editor and musician. They are the parents of eight children and reside in Bountiful, Utah.
