     The message of this hour-long tape is intended for all who wish to study and evaluate the Biblical basis for the Latter-day Saint claim that the Book of Mormon is a book inspired by God. After briefly summarizing the history recorded in the Book of Mormon, it treats in detail each of the passages found in the Bible which refer to the Book of Mormon, or to the people whose history is recorded in that sacred book. Careful verse-by-verse explanations are made, illustrating the strong Biblical evidence that Old Testament prophets, and the Savior himself, knew that God was speaking to people in areas other than the Middle East, and that the Book of Mormon would some day come forth as another testament of Jesus Christ. The message is effectively presented in an easy-to-understand form, and ends with the scriptural promises which show the listener how to gain an inspired witness its truthfulness.
